The highest LED quality with the easiest installation: The Nichia Multibar LED strips are quickly installed thanks to the Plug & Play connection system and are equipped with the most powerful mid-power LEDs on the market: Nichia 757G series.
The experience of the Japanese company Nichia, the world's leading LED maker, is reflected in the highest quality of light, longest lamp life, top light output and light efficacy.
One meter of the Multibar3090 LED strip has a light output of over 1500 lm (100W equivalent) at only 12 Watts and using only 88 Nichia 757G LEDs. This performance, combined with the natural light spectrum (CRI90 +) and lifetime of more than 100,000 hours makes the Multibar as best choice for commercial or general lighting, in the home or office.
For projects where more diffuse light is required, such as lighting architectural details or furniture decolight, we recommend the Multibar1090 LED strip with a number of 48 LEDs per linear meter and a luminous flux of up to 610 lm / m (equivalent to 50W).
Multibar modules use a modular Plug & Play construction system with connection sockets that also work on strip segments, fastening brackets and dedicated profiles. Installation and maintenance is very easy without a soldering gun or other cables.
A 100,000-hour lifetime and a 7 year warranty combined with energy efficiency will quickly cover the initial investment in this professional lighting system, by eliminating maintenance costs and minimizing electricity bills.
Applications for Nichia Multibar LED Strips:
The Multibar is equipped with LEDs from the Japanese producer Nichia, world leader with over 25% market share and decades of experience in the field. Nichia researchers invented the blue and white LED production technology and received the Nobel Prize for this accomplishment.
The very long life of Nichia 757G LEDs (minimum 100,000 hours), high operating temperature resistance, superior light output and very good light quality are just some of the attributes that recommend the Multibar for projects where light will be used a very long time.
We are a specialist of high performance LED light solutions. As part of the early success of LEDs we have extensive application knowledge from a wide range of sectors. Since 2010, we have developed and produced NICHIA LED strips in a state-of-the-art production facility in Germany. These strips have been used successfully in a wide range of application and developed specifically to meet customer specifications.
The difference between the quality and performance of a Nichia LED Multibar LED strip and a cheap, LED light band is evident from the first power on and in time the gap grows even more.
1) Shining light for tens of thousands of hours
After 10,000 hours of operation, a Nichia 757G LED shines like it did at the start, keeping 97% of the initial light flux in high operating temperatures. The unrivaled durability comes from the unique design and high quality of the materials, Nichia being also the manufacturer of the chemicals in the LED component.
In fact, a Multibar LED strip will function well for over 100,000 hours in most applications, after which it loses only 20% of the brilliance from the beginning. 100,000 hours is a very long period, at least 10 years of operation without pause in a shopping center or decades of daily use in the home.
To keep the cost low, a cheap LED uses a weak design and low quality materials, resulting in 60% loss of initial power in less than 10,000 hours. Just 1000-3000 hours, that pass in only months, the LED is too weak for the original purpose and should be replaced.
Luminous flux stability for the Nichia 757G LEDs is supported by 10,000-hour tests, according to the LM-80 standard. Lifetime (light at 80%) is calculated according to TM-21, both of which are internationally recognized standards and used by all major manufacturers.
2) Uniform white light, Nichia 757G LEDs in a batch of the same shade of white that it keeps in time
On the Multibar, all Nichia LEDs have the same color temperature as all LED modules in a delivery. Uniformity is also maintained on a future order. The reason is the use of the 3 Macadam Elipse sorting standard.
The phenomenon of shifting white after many hours of operation is not visible to the Nichia 757G LEDs, they have the same shade as the acquisition because of the high quality of construction.
In contrast, for cheap LEDs, a post-production LED sorting standard is not used as it increases the price. Thus, on one tape and / or from one roll to another you can see many shades and light intensities. The requirement that the next shade in a new order is the same is impossible to accomplish. Moreover, after just a few thousand hours, each inexpensive strip LED changes its hue and looses brightness.
3) Bright light, lower bills: The Nichia 757 LED is up to 5 times more energy efficient
Depending on the technology used, LEDs may have a different light output for the same power consumption. The difference in light efficacy (lumens per watt) from one LED to another may be even more than 500% and has a very high influence on the production price. The Nichia 757G LEDs have the highest efficacy of more than 200 lumens per watt compared to an inexpensive LED that has about 50 lumens per watt.
A 12W / m Multibar3090 strip is as bright as two meters of 14.4W / m strip with 5050 cheap LEDs (total consumption 28.8W per meter). After 10,000 hours, the Multibar3090 LED strip will become as bright as four meters of cheap LEDs, due to the degradation of the latter's luminous flux.
4) Natural Colors: The Nichia 757 LED has very good light quality
The purpose of a light source is to reproduce natural light, with direct connection in the way the human eye perceives the colors. The CRI index is one of the ways that shows if the light source has the same spectrum quality as the sunlight, in which case the CRI will be 100. If CRI of light source is less than 80 then color is no longer perceived correctly, a phenomenon that gets very visible at CRI 70 or less. For example, a bright red in daylight can be seen as a red-burgundy in the light of an LED with CRI 65. In addition, LEDs with a CRI of less than 70 can be tiring for our eyes, causing headaches or even mild dizziness.
The Multibar strip uses Nichia 757G LEDs with CRI90 + for correct color perception. The cheap LEDs on the market have a CRI of 70 or less that greatly distorts color shades, especially warm colors (red, orange, brown, etc.).
Nichia Multibar LED Strips can be combined with profiles to obtain linear luminaires with minimalist design. The profiles in our offer have a high quality of materials and finishes, intented for the German market. The profile protects the strip from dust, mechanical shocks and provides cooling for longer and longer life.
Plug & Play connectors and supports are compatible with profiles.
