The PowerBar V3 Cold White 5700K is a high-power linear LED module for luminaires that need a lot of light from a compact light source. Twelve ams OSRAM Oslon Square LEDs on a 286 mm aluminum circuit board deliver 3250 lm of cold white light with a color rendering index above 70, at 25.55 W and an efficacy of 127 lm/W. Together with the matching heat sink, optics, cover and Mean Well drivers, it becomes a complete high-power luminaire for high bay, spot, flood and area lighting, linear luminaires and horticulture.

As a compact, high-power light source, the PowerBar V3 Cold White 5700K is designed for the following main applications:

• Linear lighting: Mounted end to end in a linear luminaire body or on the PowerBar V3 heat sink, PowerBar V3 Cold White 5700K modules create powerful lines of light for pendant, batten and industrial luminaires, where a single row already delivers the output of a conventional high-power luminaire. Build a Complete Luminaire with the PowerBar V3 System

The PowerBar V3 is more than an LED module: together with its matching heat sink, optics, cover and drivers, it becomes a complete high-power luminaire that you can assemble to your requirements:

• Heat sink: the black aluminum PowerBar V3 heat sink (SKU 31631, 290 x 57.2 x 40 mm) is made to fit the module and dissipates its heat. The module is fixed with the optional mounting clips (SKU 32381) and a heat-conductive adhesive pad. See the PowerBar V3 heat sink with mounting clips and adhesive pad.
• Optics: LEDiL FLORENTINA rod lenses cover all 12 LEDs with a single part and are available with beam angles from 10° to 45°, completed by the FLORENTINA-SHD glare shield (SKU 30141) and the insert for the heat sink (SKU 32615). Installation and Operation

• Cooling: always operate the module on a heat sink, such as the PowerBar V3 heat sink, with a heat-conductive pad between board and heat sink, and make sure that the Tc point stays within the specified limits in the finished luminaire, especially at high drive currents. An NTC resistor on the board allows temperature monitoring via an external control unit.
• Connection: terminals on the first and last segment allow connection without soldering.
• Dividing: the module consists of 12 segments of 28.5 x 23.85 mm; if needed, it can be divided with a saw, and each segment can also be used individually.
• LED driver: operate the module with a constant current LED driver set to 700 mA; never connect it directly to a constant voltage supply. Several modules can be connected in series: the current stays the same and the voltages add up (36.5 V per module), so the output voltage range of the driver at the selected current must cover the sum.
• Eye safety: do not look directly into the operating LEDs.
• Handling: do not touch or press the LEDs, observe standard ESD precautions, and keep the module away from aggressive chemicals. The module is not waterproof; for humid or outdoor environments, install it in a closed, suitable luminaire housing.
• Safety: installation must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
