A Simplified Design Process Just for You
Understanding the complexity of designing LED lighting products, we’ve streamlined the process with a specialized order form. This tool is designed to easily configure your custom multi-channel LED modules or strips, with White or Color LEDs. Our form covers an extensive range of design options, including module size, PCB type, LED specifications, control mode and electrical characteristics.
LED choices include:
- Nichia 757 White or Color LEDs the Industry leading 3030 Mid-power LED, with the highest luminous efficacy (up to 222 lm/w) and reliability (up to 100.000h L70 lifetime). Each LED has a typical consumption of 0.2W at 65mA, for a luminous flux up to 45 lm.
- Nichia Azure Dynasolis, a LED solution that regulates circadian rhythms by simultaneously adjusting melanopic illuminance1 and color temperature while maintaining high CRI and high efficacy.
- Nichia NF2W757G-MT (Tunable White): Nichia's 2-in-1 Tunable White LED, developed to emit and control the two color temperatures out of an LED's single light-emitting surface. With CRI80 or 90.
- Osram RGB 3:1 DISPLIX LED, with all colors inside: Red (612-630 nm), True Green (513-545 nm) and Blue (450-480 nm)
- Seoul Semiconductor's Sunlike full spectrum CRI97+ LEDs.

Tunable White lighting
Tunable white LED modules and strips can easily and accurately reproduce the color shade of natural sunlight, by using a combination of two types of white LEDs.
Scientifically the shade of natural light is called color temperature and is measured in degrees Kelvin (K). Thus, at sunrise and sunset on a clear day, the color temperature of natural light is 2000-3500K, what we call warm white. In the morning sunlight is of pure white, color temperature of 3500-4500K, and at noon cold white 5500-6500K.
Tunable white light is the key ingredient of Human Centric Lighting (HCL). This type of lighting aims at harmonizing lighting with our specific needs and positively influences fundamental psychological processes such as concentration, productivity, mood, sleep-wake cycles and more.
With HCL lighting, we can be influenced to feel and act the same under artificial light as under natural light, at a particular time of day. For example, a warm white can make us feel relaxed, sentimentalist as we fell when the sun is at sunset, while a pure white light can energize, just as midday sunlight. HCL can also tell us what moment of the day it is while indoors, the same way as we instinctively know when outside.
To achieve its aim, a Human Centric Lighting solution must be with high-quality spectrum and offer easy adjustments of color temperature and brightness. The lighting system must also have high-energy efficiency and low maintenance costs.
To build a TW LED module, choose 2-channel LED modules and select a warm white LED for channel one and a cold white LED for channel two.
Nichia Dynasolis
Nichia's Dynasolis™ is an innovative LED tuning solution designed to regulate circadian rhythms by simultaneously adjusting melanopic illuminance and color temperature while maintaining high CRI and efficacy. Unlike traditional human-centric lighting systems that only alter correlated color temperature (CCT), Dynasolis™ also focuses on the non-visual elements affecting circadian rhythms, supporting modern indoor lifestyles by providing both color and spectrum tuning. This system uses Azure LEDs to supply 480nm light, a wavelength abundant in morning sunlight that stimulates serotonin production, promoting alertness and mental well-being. By optimizing this light exposure, Dynasolis™ enhances the secretion of melatonin in the evening, helping to regulate sleep patterns and overall circadian health.
The importance of 480nm light lies in its dual role of activating the human body and mind in the morning and preparing the body for sleep later in the day. Nichia's Dynasolis™ addresses the shortcomings of conventional indoor lighting by focusing on this critical wavelength to maximize melanopic illuminance. This solution replaces conventional high CCT LEDs with Azure LEDs to maintain a balance of energizing and calming spectra throughout the day, ensuring comfort and efficiency. The Dynasolis™ system is versatile, allowing flexible color and spectrum tuning through its implementation with Direct Mountable Chip Series or 757 Series LEDs. This adaptability makes Dynasolis™ a valuable tool for human-centric lighting applications, fostering environments that promote well-being and productivity.
To configure a Dynasolis LED module, choose 2-channel LED modules and select the Azure LED for channel one and a warm white LED for channel two.
Improved Dynasolis LED modules can be built with 3-channel customizable LED modules, by using the Azure LED for channel one, a warm white LED for channel 2 and pure or cold white LED on channel 3.
RGB lighting
RGB lighting uses a combination of three colors (Red, Green, Blue) to obtain all the other colors on the visible spectrum. White color is also possible, although with a narrow spectrum and low CRI.
RGB LED strips or modules can use individual Red, Green and Blue LEDs placed closely to each other or a 3:1 LED with Red, Green and Blue Chips.
Individual color LEDs have a significantly higher luminous flux but struggle to deliver pure combined colors when installed into narrow light fixtures, such as linear lights or slim LED panels.
3:1 RGB LEDs have pure combined colors but their reduced luminous flux limits their application to architectural or display lighting.
RGB lighting requires a 3-Channel LED module or strip.
You can configure LED modules or strips with both of the above systems for RGB light.
RGB-White lighting
By adding a White LED to the combination of RGB LEDs or chips, white light with a high quality spectrum can be obtained, at the color temperature of the LED.
4-channel LED module is required for this purpose and our customizable modules allow the selection of white LED from 1800K to 7800K.
RGB-Tunable White lighting
By adding a Warm White LED and a Cold White LED to the combination of RGB LEDs or chips, white light with a high quality spectrum can be obtained, at all the color temperature of daylight
5-channel LED module is required for this purpose and our customizable modules allow the selection of white LEDs from 1800K to 7800K.

Investing in Custom LED Strips & Modules: Costs and Timelines
For projects starting at a budget of €5,000, creating a custom LED module with Ledrise is the smart choice. This initial investment includes:
- LED module design and development
- LED module datasheet creation
- Prototype samples (optional)
- Setting up for production
- The first batch of mass-produced LED modules
After you send us your inquiry, we aim to get back to you with a detailed price offer within 1-3 working days, assuming we received all the info we need.
Need a hand with design or choosing components? We'll reach out via email and can discuss options over Microsoft Teams.
Here’s how the timeline looks once the design is locked in, and you are sure of the quantity for the first batch of mass-produced LED modules:
- Initial Design Draft: You'll see the first drawing of your LED module 2 weeks after we receive a 10% deposit.
- Datasheet and Samples: After the drawing gets your approval and a further 25% deposit, we'll create for you the custom LED module datasheet, within 2–4 weeks. Samples will follow 2–4 weeks later, if you opt to have them.
- Mass Production: Once you approve the datasheet and/or samples, we'll start the full production, which will take 6–10 weeks, after another 25% deposit.
- Final Payment: Before we ship out your first order with mass-produced LED modules, we'll need the final 40% payment.
For projects that do not have clear target for the first mass production, payment for the above steps 1-2, will be made in advance, with the amount specified in the price offer.
