PowerBar V3 UV LED Module 375 nm, 13920 mW, 12 Nichia NVSU119C LEDs, 700 mA, 28.6 W, 28.6 cm
The PowerBar V3 UV 375 nm is a high-power UVA light source with twelve Nichia NVSU119C LEDs on a 286 mm aluminum circuit board. At 700 mA it delivers a radiant power of 13920 mW at a peak wavelength of 375 nm, with 28.6 W of power consumption and a radiant efficiency of about 49%. Unlike mercury lamps, the LED module reaches full output instantly, can be switched and dimmed without warm-up, emits in a narrow band without unwanted infrared heat, and contains no mercury. Together with the matching heat sink, UV optics and Mean Well drivers, it becomes a compact UV luminaire for lithography, curing and photocatalysis.

Applications of the PowerBar V3 UV 375 nm LED Module
As a compact, high-power light source, the PowerBar V3 UV 375 nm is designed for the following main applications:
- Lithography: The 375 nm module provides uniform UV exposure for photoresists, solder masks and dry films in PCB, semiconductor and MEMS manufacturing, without warm-up and without mercury. See UV light for lithography.
- Curing: UV adhesives, inks, coatings and resins polymerize in seconds under UVA LEDs; the LED switches on instantly, can be dimmed and emits no unwanted infrared heat onto the workpiece. See light for curing.
- UV photocatalysis: UVA radiation activates titanium dioxide (TiO₂) photocatalysts, which decompose volatile organic compounds, odors and microorganisms in air and water purification systems. See light for UV photocatalysis.
Build a Complete Luminaire with the PowerBar V3 System
The PowerBar V3 is more than an LED module: together with its matching heat sink, optics and drivers, it becomes a complete high-power luminaire that you can assemble to your requirements:
- Heat sink: the black aluminum PowerBar V3 heat sink (SKU 31631, 290 x 57.2 x 40 mm) is made to fit the module and dissipates its heat. The module is fixed with the optional mounting clips (SKU 32381) and a heat-conductive adhesive pad. See the PowerBar V3 heat sink with mounting clips and adhesive pad.
- UV optics: use only optics made of UV-resistant material and specified for the module wavelength, such as the LEDiL ROSE-UV lenses designed for the PowerBar V3. Standard PMMA lenses, the FLORENTINA rod lenses and the plastic cover are not suitable for UV LEDs. See our optics for UV LEDs.
- Driver: Mean Well LCM constant current drivers with selectable output current, also available with DALI and Casambi Bluetooth control, power one or more modules. See our compatible Mean Well LED drivers.

Installation and Operation
- Cooling: always operate the module on a heat sink, such as the PowerBar V3 heat sink, with a heat-conductive pad between board and heat sink, and make sure that the Tc point stays within the specified limits in the finished luminaire, especially at high drive currents. An NTC resistor on the board allows temperature monitoring via an external control unit.
- Connection: terminals on the first and last segment allow connection without soldering.
- Dividing: the module consists of 12 segments of 28.5 x 23.85 mm; if needed, it can be divided with a saw, and each segment can also be used individually.
- LED driver: operate the module with a constant current LED driver set to 700 mA; never connect it directly to a constant voltage supply. Several modules can be connected in series: the current stays the same and the voltages add up (40.8 V per module), so the output voltage range of the driver at the selected current must cover the sum.
- UV radiation: the module emits intense UVA radiation. Avoid exposure of eyes and skin, wear UV-protective eyewear when working on an operating module, and shield the radiation in the finished device. UV radiation degrades many plastics, so use only UV-resistant materials near the LEDs.
- Handling: do not touch or press the LEDs, observe standard ESD precautions, and keep the module away from aggressive chemicals. The module is not waterproof; for humid or outdoor environments, install it in a closed, suitable luminaire housing.
- Safety: installation must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Why Choose the PowerBar V3 UV 375 nm
- High power density: 12 high-power LEDs on only 286 x 28.5 mm deliver the output of a complete luminaire from a very compact light source, ideal for optics with narrow beams.
- Thermal design: the aluminum circuit board conducts the heat of the LEDs directly into the heat sink, keeping the junction temperature low, which protects lifetime and keeps the output stable; the on-board NTC allows active temperature monitoring.
- Brand-name LEDs: we use Nichia LEDs from Japan, a leading manufacturer of white and UV high-power LEDs, with full manufacturer datasheets and long-term characterization, instead of LED chips of unknown origin whose data and quality vary from batch to batch.
- Complete system: matching heat sink, optics and drivers make it easy to design and build your own luminaire, from a single prototype to series production.
- Made in Germany: developed and manufactured at our production site in Germany, with specified, traceable components and electrical testing.
