This product is a Chip-on-Board LED module delivering 1120 lm at 2700-5000K with CRI 90, 8.95 W of power consumption and an efficacy of 126 lm/W from a single compact emitting surface.
In a COB LED many small chips are mounted directly on the substrate and covered by a common phosphor layer, so the whole array appears as one homogeneous light source. That is precisely what a reflector or a lens needs: a small, uniform emitting surface with a sharply defined edge produces a clean beam with no colour fringes and no multiple shadows, which is why COB remains the standard light source for spotlights and downlights.
The module is driven by constant current and mounted on a heat sink, usually with a COB holder that provides both the thermal contact pressure and the solderless electrical connection. Thermal design is critical: the entire heat of the module is generated in a few square millimetres, and both the luminous flux and the lifetime depend directly on keeping the case temperature within specification.
