This product is a linear LED optic from Gaggione, designed for the POLLUX7X1 module footprint. It shapes the light of a seven-LED linear module into a defined 20° distribution.

Linear optics work differently from a single spot lens: each LED gets its own optical element, and the elements are moulded as one part with exactly the pitch of the module. That is what produces a continuous, even line of light rather than a row of separate beams. Gaggione publishes full photometric files for each variant, so the luminaire can be simulated before the first sample is built.

Within the POLLUX7X1 family the same module and holder can be fitted with a wide, very wide, elliptical or wall-grazing optic, which means one mechanical platform covers several completely different lighting tasks.
