With the power supply unit LCM-60-DA MeanWell expands its portfolio switching power supplies for LEDs. The power supply unit has a multi constant current output that can be selected with the integrated DIP switch. The power supply unit also provides a DALI interface as well as the popular push dimming function. Furthermore, it has a two stage PFC filter and meets the standard EN 61000-3-2 Class C (> 35 % load), which is important for the lighting technology.
The latest circuit topology provides a high efficiency degree of up to 92 % and a cooling by simple air convection in an ambient temperature of -30 to +60 °C. A connection for an optional external temperature sensor (NTC) allows a temperature compensation in order to control the output current to guarantee a long durability of the LEDs.
Up to ten power supply units can be connected with a separate output, which allows a synchronised dimming of several luminaries. Further features are the class II design, protection in the event of a short circuit, overvoltage or overheating. All switching power supplies of the series LCM by MeanWell fulfill UL8750, ENEC EN61347-2-13 and EN62384. Typical applications are commercial LED illuminations, office illumination or decorative illumination.
