FlexMatrix-576-5080 High-Density LED Module 5700K, 7200 lm on 18 x 18 cm
The FlexMatrix-576-5080 concentrates an exceptional amount of light in a very thin module: 576 LEDs on a flexible 179 x 179 mm matrix, only 1.1 mm thick, deliver 7200 lm of daylight white 5700K light, about 220,000 lm per square meter, at 39.74 W, an efficacy of 181 lm/W. This makes it a powerful, uniform light field for image capturing and machine vision, industrial inspection and quality control, flat-field and area illumination, compact high-output backlighting, and custom luminaires with unusual geometries.
The surface is divided into 36 separable segments of 16 LEDs each, and every segment can be divided again in the middle and operated on its own. So the light source can be adapted to custom shapes, limited installation spaces and special luminaire designs without developing a new circuit board. A heat-conducting adhesive foil on the back makes it easy to mount the module on a thermally conductive surface. The module operates at 24 V constant voltage, is PWM-dimmable and is made in Germany.

Applications of the FlexMatrix-576-5080 LED Module
With its extreme luminous density and freely separable segments, the FlexMatrix is designed for the following main applications:
- Ceiling lights and compact high-output luminaires: For compact ceiling, wall and special luminaires, one module replaces a much larger LED board, and its segments can be shaped to the luminaire. See our LED modules for ceiling lights.

Installation and Operation
- Thermal management: with almost 40 W on 18 x 18 cm, the module must be mounted with its heat-conducting adhesive foil on a flat, thermally conductive surface, such as an aluminum plate or heat sink, sized for the power.
- Separating: segments can be separated from the matrix, and each segment divided in the middle, to adapt the light source to the required shape; each part can be operated separately.
- Power supply: use a stabilized 24 V DC constant voltage LED driver with short-circuit, overload and overtemperature protection, sized for 39.74 W per module plus a safety margin. For dimming, use a PWM dimmer or a dimmable driver.
- Handling: observe standard ESD precautions, avoid mechanical stress on the LEDs, and keep the module away from aggressive chemicals.
- Safety: installation must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
