The SmartArray Q1 is one of the smallest high-output LED light engines for 24 V: a single high-power Nichia LED with on-board electronics on an aluminum board of only 13.5 x 13 mm. It delivers 520 lm of warm white 2700K light at 4.8 W, with a color rendering index above 80, and can be connected directly to a 24 V constant voltage power supply, without a separate constant current driver. This makes it a simple plug & play replacement for COB modules in spotlights, downlights, LED lamps and compact high-intensity luminaires.

Applications of the SmartArray Q1 LED Module
As a compact, high-density light source, the SmartArray Q1 is designed for the following main applications:
- LED bulbs and retrofit lamps: Thanks to its compact size and high luminous density, the SmartArray Q1 is an ideal light engine for E27, E14 and GU10 LED lamps and retrofit lamps. See our LED modules for LED bulb manufacturing.

Installation and Operation
- Cooling: mount the module on a heat sink or the metal body of the luminaire, with thermal interface material or the adhesive pad where provided, and make sure the Tc point stays within the specified limits in the finished luminaire.
- Mounting accessories: the Q1 is compatible with the LEDiL HEKLA-C connection element (FP15501) and the BJB mounting bracket 47.319.6060.
- Power supply: connect the modules in parallel to a stabilized 24 V DC constant voltage LED driver with short-circuit, overload and overtemperature protection, sized for the total load plus a safety margin.
- Handling: do not touch or press the LEDs, observe standard ESD precautions, keep the module away from aggressive chemicals, and store and operate it at 10% to 60% relative humidity.
- Safety: installation must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
