With the Meanwell LCM-60BLE, the connected modules, strips or luminaires can be conveniently controlled and dimmend via smartphone or tablet. This is made possible by the built-in Casambi module, which transmits the signals from the app directly to the connected light source via Bluetooth. The Casambi app is available free of charge for both iOS- and Android-based devices.

Casambi enables indoor and commercial luminaires to be controlled via Bluetooth Low Energy 4.0 mesh protocol. Casambi's Bluetooth mesh network solution integrated into the series automatically connects to wireless mesh networks, allowing control of numerous luminaires from a single point without additional gateways. The Casambi Bluetooth app even connects to the cloud for data storage, and many Bluetooth control devices are available for instant use.

Before starting, all that is required is to download the app to a smartphone or tablet for setting up scenes, timers, etc. To expand the network and develop personalized intelligent lighting control systems, it is also possible to connect LCM-60BLE to all Casambi-compatible devices such as wall switches or light sensors. The series is equipped with a DIP switch for setting the output current and includes an AC input with push functionality. With the conventional wall switches installed, programming allows flexible control not only of the wired LED driver but also of the available luminaires and assigned groups or scenes. The Meanwell LCM-60BLE LED driver is installed in a plastic housing of protection class II, has a built-in active PFC function and an efficiency of up to 90%. This offers protection against short-circuits, overvoltage and overheating, overvoltage protection of 2kV (L-N) and has a service life of over 50,000 hours.
