LumiFlex4080 High-Performance Constant Current LED Strip Cold White 6500K

The LumiFlex4080 6500K pushes the performance limits of single-row flexible LED strips. With 540 high-performance Seoul Semiconductor 3528 LEDs on a 5.6 m reel (96 per meter), it delivers 29200 lm per reel, 5214 lm per meter, at only about 26 W per meter, with an outstanding efficacy of 197 lm/W. This makes it one of the brightest flexible strips on the market and an ideal light source for workshops, warehouses, production areas and technical spaces that need powerful, crisp daylight white light.

Unlike conventional 24 V strips, the LumiFlex4080 is operated with constant current, which keeps the brightness uniform and the efficiency high. The reel consists of 20 modules of 28 cm, each with 27 LEDs and plug and play connectors at both ends, so modules connect without soldering or additional connectors. Up to five modules (1.4 m) can be operated in series from one power feed. Produced in Germany in our reel-to-reel process, the strip has Zhaga-compatible dimensions and uses LEDs binned to a 3-step MacAdam ellipse for uniform cold white light.

Compared with rigid LED modules, which must be fixed with many screws, the LumiFlex4080 is simply glued into the luminaire body in the required length with its double-sided, thermally conductive adhesive tape. Screwing and complex wiring become a thing of the past, and the strip is safe to touch thanks to SELV low voltage operation.

Applications of the LumiFlex4080 LED Strip 6500K

Thanks to its combination of extremely high luminous flux, outstanding efficacy and a flexible, Zhaga-compatible format, the LumiFlex4080 6500K is designed for the following main applications:

• Linear lighting: Mounted in an aluminum profile with an opal diffuser, the LumiFlex4080 creates continuous, even lines of light for ceilings, walls and furniture. With 27 LEDs on every 28 cm module (a pitch of about 10 mm) and a 20 mm wide PCB, the strip produces a bright, even line, and the modules connect seamlessly with their plug and play connectors. With 5214 lm per meter, a single strip provides the brightness needed for general lighting in residential spaces and in many commercial spaces, while two strips in parallel reach the levels required for demanding commercial applications. • Cove lighting: Installed in a ceiling or wall cove, the strip produces soft, glare-free indirect light. Its output of 5214 lm per meter is bright enough for general room lighting from a single cove line, even in larger rooms, and the 3-step MacAdam binning prevents visible color shifts along long cove runs. The 6500K light color creates a crisp, cool daylight white light that maximizes perceived brightness and alertness, well suited to workshops, garages, warehouses, laboratories, production and technical areas. • Troffer and panel lighting: For troffers and LED panels in suspended ceilings, several LumiFlex4080 strips can be mounted in parallel on the base plate behind the diffuser. The 20 mm wide, Zhaga-compatible flexible PCB, high efficacy and CRI>80 make it a high-quality replacement for fluorescent tubes in workshops, laboratories, production and technical areas, where crisp daylight white light supports precise work. • Efficient white light: With a color rendering index above 80 and an outstanding efficacy of 197 lm/W, the LumiFlex4080 delivers very large amounts of uniform white light at minimal energy cost. Planning tip: in offices with ceiling heights up to 5 meters, the LumiFlex4080 can provide general or task lighting, shining directly downwards from a luminaire or a recessed aluminum profile with cover, if needed combined with other light sources such as spotlights. Installation and Operation

• Cutting: the strip can be cut with scissors every 280 mm, between two modules.
• Mounting: clean and degrease the surface, then fix the strip with the double-sided, thermally conductive adhesive tape. For the best heat transfer, light diffusion and mechanical protection, we recommend mounting it in one of our aluminum profiles.
• Connection: the 28 cm modules are connected to each other with their plug and play connectors, without soldering.
• Power supply: operate the strip with a constant current LED driver of 900 mA. One driver output can supply up to five modules (1.4 m) in series at 41.25 V, for example with our drivers SKU 95235 or 95236. A full 5.6 m reel cannot be powered from a single feed: divide it into sections of maximum 1.4 m, each with its own power feed.
• Handling: avoid sharp bending and mechanical stress on the components, observe standard ESD precautions, and keep the strip away from aggressive chemicals. Store and operate it at 10% to 60% relative humidity.
• Safety: installation must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
