FlexOne2080 Samsung LED Strip Pure White 4000K with Linear Control, Cuttable After Every LED

The FlexOne2080 4000K combines a high output of 1328 lm per meter with a unique flexibility: the strip can be cut with scissors after every LED, every 50 mm, so it can be divided into segments of a single LED and adapted to practically any length or luminaire design. It is equipped with 100 Samsung LEDs on a 5 m reel (20 per meter, about 66 lm each) and delivers 6640 lm per reel, which makes it an ideal light source for cove lighting, indirect and background lighting, kitchens, shops and trade fair stands.

Built-in linear control keeps the current of every LED constant over the entire length: even when the 12 V supply is connected at one end only, the last LED shines as brightly as the first. LEDs binned to a 3-step MacAdam ellipse ensure uniform pure white light, and the 4000K light color creates a clean, focused pure white light that supports concentration and alertness, well suited to offices, classrooms, hospitals, grocery stores, jewelry boutiques, workshops and kitchens. With its high output, constant brightness and freely adjustable length, the FlexOne2080 4000K is designed for the following main applications:

• Cove lighting: Installed in a ceiling or wall cove, the strip produces soft, glare-free indirect light. Its output of 1328 lm per meter is ideal for strong ambient room light from a single cove line, and the 3-step MacAdam binning prevents visible color shifts along the cove. Because the light is reflected by the ceiling or wall, the 50 mm LED pitch does not create visible light points. Installation and Operation

• Cutting: the strip can be cut with scissors after every LED (every 50 mm), at the marked cutting points.
• Mounting: clean and degrease the surface, then fix the strip with its self-adhesive tape. For the best heat transfer, light diffusion and mechanical protection, we recommend mounting it in one of our aluminum profiles.
• Connection: connect the strip by soldering leads to the connection pads provided for this purpose.
• Power supply: operate the strip with a stabilized 12 V DC constant voltage LED driver that has short-circuit, overload and overtemperature protection. A full 5 m reel draws 84 W (7 A).
• Cables: thanks to linear control, the strip can be fed from one end. At up to 7 A per full reel, use cables and connections rated for this current, or divide long runs into sections with separate feeds.
• Heat: at 16.8 W per meter, mount the strip on an aluminum profile or another metal surface for good heat dissipation.
• Handling: avoid sharp bending and mechanical stress on the components, observe standard ESD precautions, and keep the strip away from aggressive chemicals. Store and operate it at 10% to 60% relative humidity.
• Safety: installation must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
