LumiFlex3090 Professional High-Efficiency CRI90 LED Strip Pure White 4000K

The LumiFlex3090 4000K is a high-efficiency, high color rendering LED strip for offices, retail displays, workshops and healthcare spaces, and for horticulture installations that need an efficient white spectrum. It is built with 350 Cree JB2835 mid-power LEDs per 5 m reel (70 per meter) and delivers 9450 lm per reel (1890 lm per meter) at only 12.5 W per meter. With 152 lm/W at a junction temperature of 65°C and a mains voltage luminous efficacy of 164 lm/W, it reaches energy efficiency class D, a very economical choice for projects where operating costs matter. With a photon flux of 137 µmol/s per 5 m reel (about 27 µmol/s per meter), the 4000K version is also well suited to growing applications, where its white spectrum supports plant growth and easy visual crop inspection.

A color rendering index above 90 and LEDs binned to a 3-step MacAdam ellipse ensure accurate colors and visually identical light from strip to strip, which is essential wherever several runs are installed in the same field of view. The strip is made from one continuous 5-meter printed circuit board, produced in our reel-to-reel line in Germany, so there are no soldered joints between sections, and integrated linear current control keeps the brightness constant over the entire length.

The LumiFlex3090 can be cut every 100 mm and is mounted quickly with its double-sided, heat-conducting adhesive tape. With its slim 8 mm width, 1.2 mm height, 24 V constant voltage operation and full dimmability, it fits into aluminum profiles, coves, troffers and custom luminaires without additional cooling, and with only 2.6 A per 5 m reel it keeps the load on drivers and wiring low.

Applications of the LumiFlex3090 LED Strip 4000K

Thanks to its combination of very high efficacy, high color rendering and a slim, flexible format, the LumiFlex3090 4000K is designed for the following main applications:

• Linear lighting: Mounted in an aluminum profile with an opal diffuser, the LumiFlex3090 creates continuous, even lines of light for ceilings, walls and furniture. With 70 LEDs per meter (a pitch of about 14 mm), choose a profile with enough distance between strip and diffuser, or a cover with high diffusion, for a dot-free line; for very shallow profiles, a strip with 140 LEDs per meter is the better choice. The absence of soldered joints along the 5 m reel ensures a perfectly uniform line. With 1890 lm per meter, one strip covers accent and ambient lighting, while two strips in parallel reach the brightness needed for general lighting. • Cove lighting: Installed in a ceiling or wall cove, the strip produces soft, glare-free indirect light. Its output of 1890 lm per meter is ideal for strong ambient room light from a single cove line, and the 3-step MacAdam binning prevents visible color shifts along long cove runs. The 4000K light color creates a clean, focused pure white light that supports concentration and alertness, well suited to offices, classrooms, hospitals, grocery stores, jewelry boutiques, workshops and kitchens. • Troffer and panel lighting: For troffers and LED panels in suspended ceilings, several LumiFlex3090 strips can be mounted in parallel on the base plate behind the diffuser. The slim 8 mm PCB, high efficacy and CRI>90 make it a high-quality replacement for fluorescent tubes in offices, classrooms, hospitals and shops, where good color rendering improves visual comfort and concentration. • High-quality white light: With a color rendering index above 90, the LumiFlex3090 reproduces colors more faithfully than standard CRI80 LED strips, while its very high efficacy keeps energy consumption low. • Horticulture: microalgae photobioreactors: The narrow, flexible PCB can be placed close to transparent reactor tubes, with several strips distributed around the reactor for multi-sided illumination and fewer dark zones. White light is a practical choice for dense cultures, since green photons penetrate further into the suspension. Mount the strips on aluminum profiles so their heat is carried away from the culture. Please note: the standard LumiFlex3090 is not waterproof and is specified for operation at 10% to 60% relative humidity. Installation and Operation

• Cutting: the strip can be cut with scissors every 100 mm, at the marked cutting points.
• Mounting: clean and degrease the surface, then fix the strip with the double-sided, heat-conducting adhesive tape. For the best heat transfer, light diffusion and mechanical protection, we recommend mounting it in one of our aluminum profiles.
• Connection: connect the strip by soldering leads to the connection pads provided for this purpose.
• Power supply: operate the strip with a stabilized 24 V DC constant voltage LED driver that has short-circuit, overload and overtemperature protection. A full 5 m reel draws 62.5 W (2.6 A).
• Handling: avoid sharp bending and mechanical stress on the components, observe standard ESD precautions, and keep the strip away from aggressive chemicals. Store and operate it at 10% to 60% relative humidity.
• Safety: installation must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
