LumiBarTW-112-4098+ Nichia Dynasolis Tunable Spectrum LED Module 2000K, 4000K and Azure, Zhaga 28 cm
The LumiBarTW-112-4098+ Dynasolis tunes not only the color temperature but also the spectrum of white light. Besides warm white 2000K and neutral white 4000K channels, it has a third channel with Nichia Azure LEDs that emit in the range around 480 nm, the light that is most effective for the non-visual, circadian effects of light. Adding the Azure channel produces energizing light in the morning, while reducing it in the evening creates calming light, supporting the natural day and night rhythm.
Designed according to the Zhaga Book 7 standard (category L28W2), the LumiBarTW-112-4098+ Dynasolis has a 20 mm wide, 28 cm rigid board with solderless terminals and needs no additional heat sink. It is operated at 24 V constant voltage with a 3-channel controller, and is made in Germany with a 5-year warranty.

Applications of the LumiBarTW-112-4098+ Dynasolis LED Module
With its separately controllable channels and Zhaga-compatible format, the LumiBarTW-112-4098+ Dynasolis is designed for the following main applications:
- Linear lighting: Mounted end to end in linear luminaires, recessed or surface-mounted profiles and pendant lights, LumiBarTW-112-4098+ Dynasolis modules create tunable lines of light; four modules (1.12 m) fit a 1.2 m luminaire. Behind a diffuser, the short LED pitch gives a uniform line at every setting. Read more in our guides on creating lines of light with LED strips and designing efficient LED linear lamps.
- Cove lighting: Installed in ceiling or wall coves, the modules produce indirect light whose color can follow the time of day or the occasion: warm light for a relaxed atmosphere, cooler light for activity and concentration. The rigid board makes it easy to align the modules precisely along the cove. Learn how to plan it in our cove lighting guide.
- Human-centric lighting: The 3 channels are controlled separately, for example with a wireless Casambi-enabled controller, so color temperature, spectrum and brightness can follow a daily program: activating light during the day and warm, dimmed light in the evening, supporting well-being and the natural circadian rhythm in offices, schools, healthcare, care homes and homes. Read more about Human Centric Lighting with adjustable intensity and color temperature and how wireless Casambi control enables human-centric lighting scenes.
- High-quality white light: The white channels provide CRI above 90, so colors look natural while the spectrum is tuned. Find out which color temperature suits your project in our guide Choosing the right color temperature for LED lighting.
Built Around the Zhaga Standard (Book 7)
The Zhaga Consortium is a global lighting industry association that defines interface specifications, called Books, so that LED light engines from different manufacturers can be used interchangeably in the same luminaire. Zhaga Book 7 covers linear and square LED modules for indoor lighting that are operated with a separate LED driver and are mounted in the luminaire, and replaced, by professionals. It specifies the mechanical, thermal, photometric and electrical interfaces between the LED module and the luminaire, and defines 18 module categories by their maximum outer dimensions. In 2023, Book 7 became the first Zhaga specification to be published as an IEC standard, IEC 63356-2. More information is available on the Zhaga Book 7 page.
The LumiBar is designed according to Zhaga Book 7. With its dimensions of 279.5 x 20 mm, the LumiBar fits the Book 7 category L28W2, which defines a maximum module size of 280 x 24 mm.
- For luminaire manufacturers: a luminaire body designed around the Zhaga form factor accepts standardized modules, so you can switch to newer, more efficient LED generations or a second source without redesigning the luminaire.
- For maintenance and upgrades: existing luminaires with Zhaga Book 7 modules can be serviced or upgraded with LumiBar modules, extending their service life.
- For sustainable lighting: replaceable, standardized light engines make luminaires serviceable and support the replaceability of light sources required by the EU Ecodesign Regulation (EU) 2019/2020.

Installation and Operation
- Mounting: mount the module flat on the luminaire body, ideally on a metal surface for good heat transfer; no additional heat sink is required. Do not bend the rigid circuit board and avoid mechanical stress on the components.
- Connection: the module has solderless terminals. Strip the wire insulation at the connection point and insert the wire; we recommend a conductor cross-section of 0.75 mm² (AWG 18). Observe the marking of the channels.
- Power supply and control: operate the module with a stabilized 24 V DC constant voltage LED driver and a 3-channel controller, one channel per color. Several modules are connected in parallel; size the driver for all channels at full output, up to 15.82 W per module, plus a safety margin.
- Handling: observe standard ESD precautions, keep the module away from aggressive chemicals, and store and operate it at 10% to 60% relative humidity.
- Safety: the power supply must provide short-circuit, overload and overtemperature protection, and installation must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Why the LumiBarTW-112-4098+ Dynasolis Outperforms Low-Cost LED Modules
- LED quality: we use only brand-name LEDs from Nichia, the Japanese LED market leader whose researchers invented the blue and white LED technology, with full manufacturer datasheets and performance tested in the lab and in real applications.
- Production quality: the modules are assembled in Germany on an ISO-certified line with high-speed automatic placement and vapor phase soldering under a protective gas atmosphere, which prevents oxidation and cold solder joints and improves the thermal connection between LED and circuit board, an important factor for LED lifetime. Laser bar codes ensure traceability.
- Realistic specifications: all values are measured at a junction temperature of 65°C, so the performance in our datasheet matches what you get in a real luminaire.
