The LumiFlexTW-2080 Nichia covers an exceptionally wide color temperature range, from candlelight-like 2000K to daylight 6500K, so the same installation can follow the light of the day from sunrise to afternoon. It is equipped with 700 Nichia 757 series mid-power LEDs (140 per meter), in two separately controllable channels, and delivers 874 lm per meter in warm white and up to 1396 lm per meter in cold white at 9.6 W per meter and channel, with an efficacy of up to 145 lm/W.

This combination of brightness, efficiency and a wide tuning range makes the LumiFlexTW-2080 a strong choice for linear luminaires and cove lighting in homes, hotels, restaurants, offices and shops, and for human-centric lighting concepts. Applications of the LumiFlexTW-2080 Nichia LED Strip

With its tunable white light and flexible format, the LumiFlexTW-2080 Nichia is designed for the following main applications:

• Linear lighting: In aluminum profiles, the LumiFlexTW-2080 Nichia creates continuous lines of light for ceilings, walls and furniture, and tunable white linear luminaires for offices, shops and hospitality. Because the warm white and cold white LEDs alternate along the strip (70 of each per meter), mount it in a profile with an opal diffuser and enough distance between strip and cover, so the two colors blend into one uniform line of light at every setting. With 874 lm per meter in warm white and 1396 lm per meter in cold white, one strip provides accent and ambient lighting, while two strips in parallel reach the brightness needed for general lighting. • Cove lighting: Installed in a ceiling or wall cove, the LumiFlexTW-2080 Nichia produces soft, glare-free indirect light whose color temperature can follow the time of day or the occasion: warm light for a relaxed evening atmosphere in living rooms, hotels and restaurants, neutral or cool light for activity and concentration in offices, shops and kitchens. Installation and Operation

• Cutting: the strip can be cut with scissors every 100 mm, at the marked cutting points.
• Mounting: clean and degrease the surface, then fix the strip with its self-adhesive tape. For the best heat transfer, light diffusion and mechanical protection, we recommend mounting it in one of our aluminum profiles.
• Connection: solder leads to the connection pads provided for this purpose, observing the marking of the warm white and cold white channels.
• Power supply: operate the strip with a stabilized 24 V DC constant voltage LED driver that has short-circuit, overload and overtemperature protection.
• Control: connect the two channels to a 2-channel (tunable white) LED controller or dimmer to set color temperature and brightness, for example a wireless Casambi controller or a wall dimmer.
• Driver sizing: each channel draws up to 48 W (2 A) per 5 m reel; size the driver for both channels at full output, 96 W per 5 m reel, plus a safety margin.
• Handling: avoid sharp bending and mechanical stress on the components, observe standard ESD precautions, and keep the strip away from aggressive chemicals. Store and operate it at 10% to 60% relative humidity.
• Safety: installation must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
