The BackMatrix-49-3080 LED module is a powerful lighting solution that is designed to deliver optimum illumination for large surfaces, including luminous ceilings, walls or 3D elements. The module provides a uniform lighting in color and intensity, with high spectrum quality and very high brightness. The module achieves optimum illumination by utilizing high-performance Nichia LEDs that deliver up to 38,000 lumens per square meter.

One special attribute of the BackMatrix module is its onboard switch, which allows for the three levels of brightness adjustment of the Nichia 757 LEDs, ranging from high 38,000 lumens per square meter to relaxed 13,700 lumens. Even at the highest setting, the module does not require cooling.

The BackMatrix module is also incredibly easy to install and doesn't require any cooling. Each matrix has a connector with insulation displacement, eliminating the need for soldering during electric connection. Contact between modules can be established using a single standard cable, allowing for very long cable lengths.

All the Nichia LEDs used in the BackMatrix module have at least 42,800 hours L70 lifetime in hot working conditions, ensuring that most users will see a lifetime of at least 100,000 hours. Additionally, LEDs are color-sorted up to a 3-step MacAdam Ellipse, guaranteeing color uniformity at installation and problem-free extension of the lighting system or servicing of its parts.
