The SlimFlex3090 2700K brings high-performance light to places where standard LED strips do not fit. With a width of only 5 mm and a height of 1.1 mm, it fits into very narrow aluminum profiles, slim linear luminaires, shelf edges, furniture joints and narrow coves. It is equipped with 240 Nichia 757 series mid-power LEDs on a 2 m reel (120 per meter), which deliver 1950 lm per meter, 3900 lm per reel, with an efficacy of 108 lm/W: a lot of light from a single, very narrow strip.

With a color rendering index above 90, colors, materials and skin tones look natural, and the 2700K light color creates a cozy, intimate warm white light, ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, hotels, restaurants and boutique retail. Nichia binning to a 3-step MacAdam ellipse ensures consistent warm white light, and the strip can be cut every 33.3 mm to the exact length required. It is made in Germany and backed by a 5-year warranty.

Applications of the SlimFlex3090 LED Strip 2700K

With its high brightness, CRI90 light quality and ultra-slim format, the SlimFlex3090 2700K is designed for the following main applications:

• Linear lighting: Mounted in a slim aluminum profile with an opal diffuser, the SlimFlex3090 creates narrow, continuous lines of light for ceilings, walls, furniture and minimalist linear luminaires. With 120 LEDs per meter (a pitch of about 8 mm), choose a profile with enough distance between strip and diffuser for a dot-free line. With 1950 lm per meter, one strip covers accent and ambient lighting and task lighting under cabinets and shelves from short distances (up to about 60 cm), while two strips in parallel reach the brightness needed for general lighting. • Cove lighting: Installed in a ceiling or wall cove, the strip produces soft, glare-free indirect light. Its output of 1950 lm per meter is ideal for strong ambient room light from a single cove line, and the 5 mm width also fits narrow coves where other strips cannot be installed. • Troffer and panel lighting: For troffers and LED panels, several SlimFlex3090 strips can be mounted in parallel on the base plate behind the diffuser. Their narrow PCB, high brightness and CRI>90 make them a high-quality replacement for fluorescent tubes in reception areas, hotels, shops and other spaces where a warmer, welcoming light is preferred. • High-quality white light: With a color rendering index above 90, the SlimFlex3090 reproduces colors more faithfully than standard CRI80 LED strips, while its high efficacy keeps energy consumption low. Installation and Operation

• Cutting: the strip can be cut with scissors every 33.3 mm, at the marked cutting points.
• Mounting: clean and degrease the surface, then fix the strip with its self-adhesive tape. For the best heat transfer, light diffusion and mechanical protection, we recommend mounting it in one of our aluminum profiles.
• Connection: connect the strip by soldering leads to the connection pads provided for this purpose.
• Power supply: operate the strip with a stabilized 24 V DC constant voltage LED driver that has short-circuit, overload and overtemperature protection.
• Load and longer runs: a full 2 m reel draws 36 W (1.5 A). The maximum length per power feed is 2 m; longer continuous lines can be built with additional feeds.
• Heat: at 18 W per meter on a narrow 5 mm PCB, mount the strip on an aluminum profile or another metal surface for good heat dissipation.
• Handling: avoid sharp bending and mechanical stress on the components, observe standard ESD precautions, and keep the strip away from aggressive chemicals. Store and operate it at 10% to 60% relative humidity.
• Safety: installation must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
