SlimFlexTW-2090 Nichia Ultra-Slim Tunable White LED Strip 2700-6500K

The SlimFlexTW-2090 brings tunable white light to places where a standard LED strip does not fit. With a width of only 5 mm, it fits into very narrow aluminum profiles, shelf edges, display cases, furniture joints and slim luminaires, and its 2 m reel is the right length for furniture, cabinets and smaller coves. It is equipped with 280 Nichia 757 series mid-power LEDs (140 per meter), in warm white 2700K and cold white 6500K, which deliver up to 985 lm per meter in warm white and 1070 lm per meter in cold white at 9 W per meter and channel.

With a 2-channel controller you can set any color temperature between 2700K and 6500K and adjust the brightness, from cozy warm light in the evening to fresh, daylight-like light for working. Nichia binning to a 3-step MacAdam ellipse ensures consistent white light, and a color rendering index above 80 shows colors naturally.

Applications of the SlimFlexTW-2090 LED Strip

With its tunable white light and flexible format, the SlimFlexTW-2090 is designed for the following main applications:

• Cove lighting: Installed in a ceiling or wall cove, the SlimFlexTW-2090 produces soft, glare-free indirect light whose color temperature can follow the time of day or the occasion: warm light for a relaxed evening atmosphere in living rooms, hotels and restaurants, neutral or cool light for activity and concentration in offices, shops and kitchens. With 985 lm per meter in warm white and 1070 lm per meter in cold white, it is ideal for ambient light from coves and accent lighting around furniture and architectural elements, and the 3-step MacAdam binning prevents visible color differences along long cove runs. Installation and Operation

• Cutting: the strip can be cut with scissors every 100 mm, at the marked cutting points.
• Mounting: clean and degrease the surface, then fix the strip with its self-adhesive tape. For the best heat transfer, light diffusion and mechanical protection, we recommend mounting it in one of our aluminum profiles.
• Connection: solder leads to the connection pads provided for this purpose, observing the marking of the warm white and cold white channels.
• Power supply: operate the strip with a stabilized 24 V DC constant voltage LED driver that has short-circuit, overload and overtemperature protection.
• Control: connect the two channels to a 2-channel (tunable white) LED controller or dimmer to set color temperature and brightness, for example a wireless Casambi controller or a wall dimmer.
• Driver sizing: each channel draws up to 18 W (0.75 A) per 2 m reel; size the driver for both channels at full output, 36 W per 2 m reel, plus a safety margin.
• Longer runs: the maximum length per power feed is 2 m; longer continuous lines can be built with additional feeds.
• Handling: avoid sharp bending and mechanical stress on the components, observe standard ESD precautions, and keep the strip away from aggressive chemicals. Store and operate it at 10% to 60% relative humidity.
• Safety: installation must comply with all applicable electrical and safety standards and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
